Okay, now I need some feed back on this so PLEASE COMMENT.
What if your medical doctor said he would see you for an unlimited number of 30 minute office visits for $500/year. No insurance, no co-pays. Does not include any testing (none of which would be done in office anyway) or in-hospital care.
Plan # 2: I know of a nurse practitioner who has suggested this as a way to address the busy lifestyle of many young->middle age people: Home/work/school/dorm visits. Doctor or NP visits, does exam, draws blood if needed. Mails back or faxes final report to the patient. Would have to be $100/visit (Medicare pays this at roughly $125/visit but if you cut out the billing expense you can drop the cost.)
Come on, give me some feed back. Also, let me know what you think the perfect medical delivery system would be for you.
